I\'m a healthcare nerd with a knack for breaking through regulatory barriers and solving legal conundrums. I love working with all types of healthcare providers (especially health systems and academic medical centers) to educate them on federal and state fraud and abuse laws, support their compliance operations, and get business done in a way that ultimately serves patients and the mission. My favorite projects involve working productively with government agencies to get resolution on compliance foibles or the green light to move forward with a transaction that will change lives. I find all things Medicare and Medicaid fascinating - truly! When I\'m not advocating for clients, you can find me teaching or learning from law students and new lawyers. I am fiercely passionate about supporting the careers of women and first generation professionals. And I strive to listen more than I speak.
