About Dara Marquez Venegas
Immigrating to Elkhart, IN in the mid-90s, my family has deep roots in this community, shaped by both struggle and success. With a background in automation for R&D labs and experience in the pharmaceutical industry, I bring a strong technical foundation to my work. Over the past 10+ years, I\'ve also focused on immigrant rights, working as a strategist and community organizer to empower and inspire action.Currently, as the Director of Community Engagement at La Casa de Amistad, I lead efforts to support and uplift the Latino/Hispanic community in Michiana through educational, cultural, and advocacy programs.
