Develop external communications strategy and oversee execution of those strategies, including project management of various printed publications; electronic communications; and lobby exhibits in both our old building (Tolman Hall) and our grand new building (2121 Berkeley Way).More specifically, serve as editor-in-chief of the award-wining alumni magazine, Berkeley Educator; develop content for website and serve as key team member of three website redesigns; manage social media channels; manage other electronic communications for a variety of audiences (peer institutions, campus leadership, alumni, donors, students, faculty, staff); craft the Dean’s messages to a variety of audiences; and support the award-winning development staff with their efforts to steward current donors and develop relationships with prospective donors. Awards include: 2014 Environmental award, recognizing the use of campus brand elements to improve our surroundings, from the UC Berkeley Office of Communications and Public Affairs; 2016 Award of Excellence, Silver, for the alumni magazine with the theme “Eye Toward Equity in Schools,” from CASE District VII; and 2018 Most Joint Proposals, from the UC Berkeley Office of Gift Planning.
