Center for Transforming Culture (formerly known as DARE Consulting) helps organizations transform their management systems by integrating Human-Centered Leadership practices. Selected milestones include:• Authored best-selling book about transforming government culture, endorsed by government leaders across the country and featured in several media outlets including: NBC Newsroom (MN), NPR (OH), and the Doug Wagner Show (IA). At least three states have begun initiating systems to integrate Human-Centered Leadership since the book was published. • Co-presented at national conference with NYC Schools Chancellor on transforming culture in education. Over seven large urban school systems subsequently initiated their own culture-building initiatives, leading to a small nation-wide movement for change.• Partnered with NYC Department of Education leaders to design and facilitate Human-Centered Leadership trainings for over managers which data show have improved trust, collaboration, productivity, employee engagement and innovation. • Facilitated state senator roundtables in ways that dissolved bipartisan conflict, developed a collective vision for change, and supported innovative solutions that met all legislator and constituent needs. Sessions have been referred to as “the best facilitation… ever seen”.

Dara is a two-time best-selling author, management consultant, and film producer with a knack for putting issues that matter on the map. She has 20+ years of experience facilitating trust-building conversations, conducting research to inform policy, and leading creative grassroots campaigns for systems change. Her work has been featured in the United Nations, U.S. Congress, Harvard Education Spotlight Series, Business Insider, Financial Times, London Times, NBC, and NPR. In 2012, she led A Big Project which created a platform bringing together citizens from 97 countries to build trust and develop a common blueprint for global progress. More recently she has created a system for depolarizing communities in conflict over ideological differences. Her campaigns for change have been touted as \"the best ever seen\" by state legislators, White House leaders and UN Officials. Dara has a master\'s with honors in Public Policy from the London School of Economics.
