ABOUT DAR VANDERBECK

My journey has included: starting start-ups, leading innovation teams at big global non-profits, being a political appointee, serving as a front line civilian in Afghanistan, training as a death doula and attending divinity school, where I focused on how grief can play a role in social transformation. Today, I am honored to serve as the Vice President of the Aspen Global Leadership Network (AGLN) where we are building a transnational network of leaders that have the courage, clarity, conviction and community needed to lead into a more just, more harmonious, more free world.
