I\'ve always loved problem-solving, analysis, and brainstorming. My keen eye for detail is what drove me to study the English language and pursue editing, always attempting to answer the question \"How can we communicate the idea here better?\" When I decided to pivot from editing to the world of IT, I knew I\'d be able to bring along those same skills and passions that served me so well. Now I ask:\"How can we make the process here better? How can we reduce the friction between technology and humans so that the experience is better and more efficient?\"Throughout the course of my time managing IT in the food/beverage and beauty/cosmetics industries, I\'ve been able to develop ample experience answering those questions. The approach I strive for is to identify technological pain points, develop a plan to address those pain points, and make sure that the solution addresses the needs of the end-user as well as the needs of other parties invested in the outcome. It sounds simple, but it\'s allowed me to tangibly reduce friction and increase efficiency in both the retail and corporate environments I\'ve had the pleasure of working in.
