About Daphne Sroka

Aspiring legal professional with a focus on environmental and land use law, I am currently a Juris Doctor candidate at the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University (Expected May 2027). My legal training is defined by hands-on research and advocacy, ranging from my current work at Solow, PLLC, where I am developing a manual on environmental criminal investigation and prosecution, to my time as an Interim Law Clerk for the Kentucky Department of Public Advocacy supporting criminal defense litigation. Beyond the classroom, I serve as an Editor for The Urban Lawyer journal and a Student Researcher for the Land Use Law Center, where I provide legal analysis to help communities solve complex urban and suburban land use challenges. My dedication to public service and sustainability took root during my undergraduate years at Loyola Marymount University, where I graduated cum laude in Political Science. During this time, I balanced academic rigor with diverse leadership roles, including serving as a Research Assistant investigating international women\'s rights and acting as the Vice President of Philanthropy for Delta Zeta, where I raised over for charitable causes. With a background that spans social media management for international environmental nonprofits to operational programming roles in eco-efficiency programs, I bring a unique blend of administrative precision and a passionate commitment to fostering sustainable, equitable communities.

The work will also include research and drafting of model jury instructions, evidentiary and procedural motions as well as issues related to sentencing, including restitution and other remedies for victims of such crimes.
