Working under Dr. Austin Downey in the ARTS Lab at the University of South Carolina, I conduct undergraduate research focused on machine learning–based data processing for in-situ metal additive manufacturing. This experience has deepened my interest in the intersection of mechanical systems and artificial intelligence, and has strengthened my skills to apply data-driven methods to solve real-world engineering challenges, and has strengthened my foundation as an aspiring software engineer.
