Getaround (NYSE: GETR) was conceived and launched as our class project at Singularity University in 2009 (led by my students Sam Zaid and Jessica Scorpio). I was the first board member. They launched the peer-to-peer carsharing space, operate in over 300 cities around the world, and recently went public. They\'ve come a long way!
