I revamped a defunct blog by increasing news coverage of cannabis legalization and the burgeoning hemp industry. I have covered legalization, protests, entrepreneurs, patients, doctors, tradeshows, and legal cases that have emerged as New Jersey\'s cannabis industry has expanded. I have also written about cannabis industry conventions in Nevada and the Massachusetts cannabis market. I have spent a lot of time investigating the nuances of the opposition to cannabis, including the links between rehabilitation centers and pastors. By improving the site\'s SEO by adding a schema page, coordinating with Google, updating stories to include external links, photos with alt text, multiple keywords, and headers the site traffic has grown a lot. I have also made deals with groups like CannaGather NJ, Why Not THC, and hemp businesses to cross-promote events which increased our traffic. I have also sold advertising to a variety of companies to monetize the site.
