About Dan Goldman

Dan Goldman is a Director of Clinical Account Management for Health Strategy LLC. He was previously a Director of Clinical Program Management for Prime Therapeutics, facilitating strategic account management and PBM services for Florida Blue in Jacksonville, Florida. Dan earned his BA in Economics from UF, PharmD from South University, Master\'s in Pharmaceutical Outcomes & Policy (Applied Pharmacoeconomics) from UF, and an MBA from Stetson University. He completed a residency in managed care pharmacy and transitioned into a Clinical Coordinator role with SelectHealth, an integrated health plan, before joining Prime Therapeutics. Dan is an enthusiastic member of the Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy and has served the organization in a diplomatic role to multiple colleges of pharmacy. Throughout his career, he has actively participated in managing pharmacy benefits through formulary and utilization management, pharmacy expense trending, team-based guideline development, methodological research, and drug rebate negotiation. He has presented recommendations to pharmacy and therapeutic committee meetings, lectures to pharmacy students, research projects to national meeting audiences, and currently serves as faculty for the Pharmaceutical Outcomes and Policy degree program at the University of Florida.
