I operate at the intersection of Finance strategy and technology delivery - leading complex programmes and projects where the two sides of that equation need to actually speak to each other.My background is unusual. I started in Finance - management accounting, internal audit, financial reporting across regulated environments before moving into IT programme delivery. That dual foundation means I can sit in a technical SteerCo and follow the architecture conversation, then turn around and explain the commercial implications to a CFO in the same afternoon. Most people can do one or the other. The ones who can do both tend to get called when things get complicated.I\'m delivery agnostic by conviction. Waterfall, Scrum, hybrid - the methodology should serve the programme, not the other way around. What matters is whether the right things are being built, whether the people building them have what they need and whether the people commissioning them actually understand what they\'re getting.I\'ve spent the last five years embedded within one of the world\'s largest consumer goods companies, leading Finance and Data transformation programmes spanning SAP, Azure, Anaplan, OneStream and Power BI - working across internal teams and major system integrators simultaneously. The work has ranged from data architecture and platform migrations to financial reporting tools used at the highest levels of the organisation.I work best in environments where the problem is genuinely hard, the stakeholders are senior and someone needs to cut through the noise and tell them what\'s actually happening.
