As a former Division I athlete, I understand the definition of hard work, perseverance and dedication. I worked tirelessly to improve my craft and reach my full potential. Now that my wrestling career is over, I am looking forward to excel in the human resources industry, where I will utilize my goal-oriented nature, experience, and prestigious education to advance my career. I am interested in Human Resources because I love connecting with people and the idea of making a positive impact on people\'s experience as employees. Human Resources requires a focused individual with strong organization, and as a former wrestler, this aligns well with my very regimented lifestyle and goal-setting mindset. Through my past experiences, I have learned a lot regarding recruiting, interviewing, and managing employee relations. I aim to continue to gain more experience and learn from my coworkers so that I can eventually become an effective leader in Human Resources. I am confident that I will achieve my goals due to my work ethic, inquisitive nature, and desire to help and connect with everyone I meet.Currently, I am a first-year student at Carlson School of Management\'s Human Resources & Industrial Relations master\'s program. I am looking to gain more experience through internships this summer as I progress within the program.
