Senior Ai Integration Developer @Epic Games
Montreal, QC, CA
At Epic Games I work on the Virtual Production / Media & Entertainment team, integrating real-time generative AI into production workflows used by filmmakers, VFX artists, and virtual production studios worldwide.Current focus areas include depth-conditioned image synthesis with diffusion models, 3D Gaussian Splatting pipelines for scene reconstruction and inpainting, and temporal consistency strategies for continuously updating generative outputs as camera and scene state change in real time.Previously contributed to AI feature integration on Twinmotion, focusing on real-time visualization workflows for architecture and design.

ABOUT DANTE DE NIGRIS
I build things at the intersection of generative AI and real-time 3D, where research meets production and latency actually matters. My work spans computer vision, medical imaging, and AI integration in game engines, with a through-line of taking state-of-the-art models and making them work in environments that weren\'t designed for them. Currently at Epic Games on the Virtual Production / Media & Entertainment team, focused on real-time generative AI workflows, depth-conditioned image synthesis, and 3D Gaussian Splatting pipelines for production-grade scene reconstruction. Before Epic, I spent 3+ years at Unity as a Staff ML Engineer building AI features for 3D content creation — facial capture on synthetic data, motion capture denoising and upsampling, and generative models for asset creation. Before that, medical imaging R&D, a computer vision startup, and a PhD from McGill in image-guided neurosurgery. I care about bridging the gap between what AI can do in a paper and what it can do in a shipped product. That gap is where interesting problems live.
