About Dante Buckley
I am a dedicated engineer committed to completing my work with creativity and a winning attitude. My industry experience as a Research & Development and Operations engineer at RTI Surgical has provided a solid foundation in the medical industry as well as my experience as a Process Engineer and Managerial experience at Resilience (formerly Ology Bioservices) addressing pandemic readiness and championing various engineering pursuits to advance technologies and manufacturing capabilities for making the medicine of tomorrow today. I am often referred to as a connector. My strong suit is being a resourceful leader within my nurtured network of friends and professionals. I earned my Bachelors and Masters degrees in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Florida. I am also the first recipient of the Dean’s Certificate of Engineering Entrepreneurship. I am thrilled to have completed Executive Master in Business Administration degree from the accredited Jack Welch Management Institute. I practice being a holistic engineer one that can communicate effectively through technical expertise and societal awareness. I value mentoring and being able to lead and support productive teams. I pride myself in my accomplishments and getting others to achieve their goals. I have 10+ years experience as an educator highlighted by starting a high school robotics team and organizing TEDxYouth events as well as being a Research and Teaching Assistant at the University of Florida\'s Department of Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering. I am credited with co-founding the Small Satellite Design Club and was a research assistant with the Space Systems Group. Our graduate team was the first to design and build a small satellite nicknamed SwampSat, and to successfully launch it into orbit. I was involved in the National Science Foundation’s Industry & University Cooperative Research Center, Advanced Space Technologies Research and Engineering Center as well as the NSF program for Innovation for Institutional Integration, I-cubed. I have numerous accomplishments and publications that have prepared me for my success in academia/industry.I also enjoy traveling with my family and living an active life as a coach and sports official.
