Carrying out planned maintenance and troubleshooting on electrical equipment and instrumentation across the plant. Ranging from Delta V DCS controlled automated plant, PLC package units and also relay logic control. Also maintaining pneumatic and hydraulic systems such as solenoids, valves, and valve positioners. Providing 24/7 cover for troubleshooting whilst developing national technicians through mentoring and demonstrating good working practices and a high standard of health and safety. Participating in the prioritisation of work orders (SAP) and sourcing the necessary spare parts as well as recommending where improvements could be made in relation to unreliable equipment and reduction in plant downtime.
