ABOUT DANIEL SCRASE

I’m a Trainee Solicitor at Agri Advisor Legal LLP, currently in the Dispute Resolution Services team. My training contract will also cover property and private client work, giving me a broad foundation in agricultural law.My approach to law is shaped by strong values: access to justice, environmental responsibility, and innovation. I believe legal advice should be accessible regardless of financial means, and that law should reflect our connection to nature and support sustainable communities. My background in bereavement and mental health support has sharpened my ability to listen deeply, build trust, and support people through complex challenges. My voluntary work earned me Highly Commended in the “Best Contribution by an Individual” category at the 2023 LawWorks & Attorney General Student Pro Bono Awards, and I was part of the team recognised for “Best Contribution by an In-house Team or an In-house Solicitor” at the 2025 LawWorks Awards.Passionate about technology and inclusion, I’ve championed the use of AI tools in legal practice and launched a digital inclusion service for older people. Looking ahead, I aim to qualify as a solicitor and contribute to resilient agricultural communities, food sovereignty, and nature rights - while learning Welsh to better serve clients.
