About Dan Gardner
As a process engineer with nearly a decade of experience in semiconductor manufacturing, I specialize in solving complex technical challenges with scientific rigor and cross-functional collaboration. From leading the implementation of first-of-a-kind EUV track tools to driving materials development and defect mitigation strategies, I’ve built my career on creating scalable solutions in fabs running development and high-volume production side-by-side.Throughout my career I’ve had the opportunity to drive innovation at the cutting edge of photolithography: qualifying some of the first EUV and hNA EUV tracks, optimizing process recipes to reduce defectivity by orders of magnitude, and implementing factory automation tools that speed up how engineers access and respond to data. I thrive in roles where the stakes are high, timelines are tight, and clear communication is critical for stakeholder alignment. One of my skills that I find most rewarding is in training and mentoring new engineers - helping them navigate high-pressure work environments while fostering a culture of curiosity, accountability, and continuous improvement. I bring the same mindset to my own development. I\'m now seeking opportunities that will expand my impact, deepen my technical knowledge, and allow me to contribute to technologies that shape the future of semiconductor manufacturing. I am fully open to relocation within the US and I am open to roles that require travel.Outside the fab I’m an off-roading enthusiast who enjoys taking my truck on long trips across remote desert terrains that require thorough planning, self-reliance, and an ability to think on my feet under pressure. I also value community and creativity, which I nurture through musical pursuits such as singing with community choirs. Whether I’m troubleshooting a lithography process or rebuilding my truck\'s suspension I bring the same mindset: a passion for understanding how things work. Everything is malleable! Please feel free to connect - I\'d be thrilled to see how I can be of help.
