Most cultures fail because leadership isn’t clear, consistent, or real. I help fix that.I’m the author of six award-winning books on leadership, purpose, and culture, including The Future of Work Is Grey, Work-Life Bloom (Thinkers50 Best New Management Book, 2024; Axiom Gold Medal) and Open to Think (getAbstract Book of the Year; Axiom Silver Medal). My other titles include Lead. Care. Win.(Nautilus Book Award), The Purpose Effect, and Flat Army. These books are used by leaders, educators, and teams around the world to strengthen collaboration, deepen performance, and bring humanity back into leadership. They are integrated into corporate learning programs and often spark lasting organizational change.I work with teams, leaders, and organizations to build workplaces that are collaborative, inclusive, purpose-driven, and designed to adapt. Whether through keynote presentations, workshops, strategic facilitation, advisory partnerships, or long-term transformation programs, I help leadership teams move from intention to measurable, sustainable impact. Focus areas include leadership development, team and org processes, culture audits, learning ecosystems, talent & career development, and organizational design.I’ve spoken at five TED events, write for Forbes, HBR, IMD, among other outlets, and continue to serve as an adjunct professor at the University of Victoria’s Gustavson School of Business. I was named to the Thinkers50 Radar list for shaping the future of leadership, management, and organizational change.Earlier in my career, I held senior roles at SAP, Business Objects, and BCIT. I then spent a decade at TELUS as Chief Envisioner and Chief Learning Officer. There, I launched the TELUS MBA, the TELUS Leadership Philosophy, and the Transformation Office. These award-winning initiatives helped increase employee engagement to nearly 90 percent across a global workforce.Today, I lead Pontefract Group. I help organizations close the gap between what they say and how they lead, and then build the systems to keep that gap closed for good.
