ABOUT DAN PAYNE

I started on a journey in 2002 at the tender age of 19. Not knowing what I wanted to do or what I wanted to be. My career as a quality management professional had begun in a Chemistry lab, mostly quality control.Stepping from quality control to quality management seemed logical to me. Stepping out of a laboratory to an office though, this was out of my comfort zone.Moving forwards in time I quickly grew accustomed to an office and expanded my skills in quality management, ISO management system implementation and auditing, six sigma and change management and more recently Systems Thinking. I have been fortunate enough to have been responsible for a small team for over 10 years in 3 different organisations. I enjoy the people aspect, leading a team, planning for the future, helping individuals move on to greater things. These are some of the more enriching parts of roles I have held.Dotted amongst my career journey I have been blessed with a beautiful son, transitioning from a young adult to a family man. My spare time is spent best enjoyed with my family or going for a run, traveling, wakeboarding, hiking and snowboarding. I spent 5 years living and working in another country, working and socialising with many different nationalities and cultures.I also have an interest in passive income streams, be that property, equities or funds, I enjoy reading around these subjects. And now, to the present, I am here typing this out whilst my family sleep soundly. Why? Because I am looking to the future. I am seeking new opportunities I would also love to connect with you, because people fascinate me. Everyone has a story. What is yours?
