About Danny Windham
Danny Windham is an entrepreneurially-oriented technology executive with 35 years of experience spanning the gamut from founding a company to running a large publicly traded organization. He recently retired as Chief Operating Officer for the Hudson Alpha Institute for Biotechnology, and previously served as CEO of Digium and President/COO of Adtran, both suppliers of communications products and services. He holds an Electrical Engineering degree from Mississippi State University and an MBA from Florida Tech. He is currently involved as a board member in a number of start-up and non-profit organizations in the Huntsville, AL area. Danny is a recipient of the Distinguished Engineering Fellow award from Mississippi State University, where he also serves as a member of the MSU Research Advisory committee.
