Active Shooter Mitigation• Monitoring security countermeasures.• Investigating incidents on federal property.• Presenting formal awareness and security training programs.• Providing a visible uniformed law enforcement presence in federally owned and leased facilities.• Provide guidance on the physical protection of personnel, facilities, and assets.• Responding to incidents and other emergencies, including active shooter incidents.• Conducting facility security assessments by performing physical security inspections to maintain the safety and security of employees, equipment, and property.• Coordinating a comprehensive program for occupant emergency plans in cooperation with GSA and tenant agencies.• The application of baseline Level of Protection (LOP) and Physical Security Criteria (PSC) applicable to the facility’s Facility Security Level (FSL) as determined by the Interagency Security Committee (ISC) standard.• Implementing all federal policies, regulations, and guidelines set forth by the Federal Protection Services and GSA.• Maintain a comprehensive set of licenses and certifications to include: The National Weapons Detection Training Program, Terrorism Threat Assessment, WMD Training, Federal Emergency Response Official, SMART Book (Security Manual and Resource Tool), CPR/First Aid/AED, Personally Identifiable Information (PII), and firearms qualification. • Maintain and utilize the C-Cure Monitoring System for employee PIV badges and Milestone Husky security camera system.• Work with GSA to help implement specific program requests for incoming agencies and their specific office space criteria. • Provide informal training to new security officers.• Agencies include: FBI, DOJ, ICE, DEA, MEPS, DOL, USCIS, ATF, US Marshals, GSA, Secret Service, State Department, USPS, IRS, HHS, SSA, OSHA, FEMA
