About Daniel Davidson

Daniel is a Director in the Disputes Advisory team of FTI Consulting\'s Forensic and Litigation Consulting division, based in New York. He has been advising clients involved in legal disputes on matters of economic damages for over five years, during which time he was based in London. Previously he interned at the Department for International Trade and graduated with First Class Honours in Economics from Queens\' College, University of Cambridge. He is a Chartered Accountant and member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.Daniel assists in the production of expert reports on matters including accounting, economics, statistics, and valuation for courts and arbitration tribunals across a range of international jurisdictions. He has experience across a number of sectors, including highly regulated sectors such as energy, insurance, transport, payment services and water. In commercial litigation, Daniel has predominantly valued companies or company shareholdings, as well as having experience in regulatory reviews. In international arbitration, Daniel has predominantly assisted with assessment of damages or loss of profits, company valuations, or intellectual property disputes, with some experience assisting in mediation, expert determination and negotiated settlement. He recently moved to the North American market to apply his experience of international arbitration under various institutions across EMEA to arbitrations seated in New York.
