Welcome to my LinkedIn page!Since you\'ve likely seen thousand regular LinkedIn profiles by now, I figured you\'re up for something more unusual. So here goes:If you browse through my work experiences, you\'ll have a hard time figuring out where my strengths are. It\'s really all over the place. During my interview for one of the last contracts I did, the first thing the Technical Director told me was this:\"I looked at your LinkedIn profile, and I don\'t see a fit. Why did you apply?\" I greatly appreciated the honesty. The gig was about building a React Native mobile app. There was none of that in my profile. Instead, he found things that related to writing, travelling, coaching, video games, and of course, actual engineering work.I understood the confusion. While I had barely dabbled in React Native, I had a good amount of experience in React and many more years of experience in various types of development. People I had worked with in the past referred me because they knew that no matter the experience I had, there was no way I couldn\'t deliver.Fast forward to a few months later, they now have a high-quality mobile app they can happily share with their clients.So, what\'s my LinkedIn profile about? It\'s not that complicated once you understand this: I\'m a highly adaptable and efficient person. I take on any difficult challenge and do everything in my power to make it work as well as it can as efficiently as possible.I\'m a huge fan of optimizing resources and processes. I\'m a huge fan of learning. I\'m a huge fan of getting solid work done.And now the boring but mandatory part:I\'m a technologist, polymath, entrepreneur, engineer, and educator who has been a technical founder or co-founder of 8 businesses. I\'ve been a professional software engineer and full-stack developer for 17 years, working on every type of apps.In a nutshell: I’ve built desktop apps, video games (front-end and backend), mobile apps and web apps. I’ve been a software developer, video game programmer, front-end programmer, back-end programmer, network programmer, AI programmer, full-stack developer, lead engineer, game designer, game producer, company founder, writer, public speaker, author of 4 books, photographer, technical learning experience designer, and more.Technical Skills:Javascript, Typescript, ReactJS, React Native, C#, Unity, Python, Ruby, Java, AWS, HTML5, CSS3, RPA, ETL, Microservices, SQL, Docker, Kubernetes, and more.
