Danny de Hoyos is a seasoned operations executive with extensive experience in private equity-backed companies. He has collaborated with several prominent private equity firms, including Bain Capital, Wind Point Partners, Stolberg Equity Partners, Baker Capital, H.I.G. Capital, Castle Harlan, Abry Partners, Platinum Equity, American Securities and Apollo Global Management.In May 2019, Danny was recruited by H.I.G. Capital to join Trace3 as Chief Operations Officer. With over 25 years of experience in operations across the telecommunications, technology, and software industries, he has played a critical role in driving operational efficiency and organizational excellence. As COO at Trace3, his responsibilities encompass IT, architecture & engineering, project management, installation, warehouse & fulfillment, corporate facilities, managed and professional services, reporting, process development & documentation, training, change management, and overall operational effectiveness.Before joining Trace3, Danny served as Chief Operating Officer at Securus Technologies, the leading provider of civil and criminal justice technology solutions. From 2008 to 2019, he oversaw a workforce of over 1,300 employees across development, IT, and operations functions. Under his leadership, Securus achieved industry-leading customer satisfaction, including a Net Promoter Score of 85%. Between 2017 and 2019, the company earned over 40 awards for operational excellence. Under his leadership, Eschelon improved its EBITDA from a $5 million loss to a positive $79 million (39% CAGR). The company also completed and integrated 15+ strategic acquisitions, consistently exceeding targeted synergies.
