Oversee all facets of human resources for Deseret Power and Blue Mountain Energy, supporting a diverse workforce across both corporate and industrial operations. I lead the development and execution of comprehensive HR programs that align with organizational goals while fostering a culture of compliance, engagement, and continuous improvement.Key responsibilities include managing compensation and benefits strategy, workforce planning, recruitment, employee relations, training and development, labor relations, and full legal compliance (FMLA, HIPAA, ADA, etc.). I direct benefit plan design and administration—including health, dental, life, disability, and retirement programs—while serving as a key resource to employees and their families to ensure clarity and support in navigating their options.I also lead union negotiations with the UMWA, manage the company’s drug testing and workers’ compensation programs, maintain accurate job descriptions and wage data, and oversee the HRIS and personnel data integrity. My role is rooted in driving a people-first approach, building a resilient workforce, and delivering high-impact HR solutions that support long-term organizational success.
