ABOUT DANNY BYRNE GMBPSS
Throughout my career, I’ve been driven by a commitment to change and the belief that, with the right support, everyone has the capacity for growth. Whether working directly with individuals or supporting organizations, I’ve sought to create environments where meaningful progress can take root and thrive. Most recently, I led the Change 4U Programme, delivering strategies to address abusive behaviour and promote healthier relationships across Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly. This work required not only expertise in behaviour change but also a deep understanding of the complexities of human relationships and the courage to tackle difficult, often unspoken issues. Now, I’m focusing on helping charities and organizations refine their processes, strategies, and operations to achieve greater impact. By combining a sharp strategic mind with hands-on experience in therapy, supervision, team leadership, case management, media, marketing, website design, consultation, and training, I work to ensure that the missions of these organizations are not just realized but amplified. As a qualified therapist and supervisor, my background spans trauma, addiction, behaviour change, domestic abuse, sexual offending, and complex needs, among other areas. I’ve worked with individuals at some of the most challenging points in their lives, using both person-cantered and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) approaches to guide them toward lasting change. This diversity of experience has shaped not only my professional expertise but also my deep respect for the resilience of people and communities. My journey has taken me from working on the frontlines of addiction recovery to developing innovative strategies for tackling homelessness, offending, crime, and providing therapy for some of the most complex and high-risk cases. Each step has reinforced my belief that no challenge is insurmountable when approached with care, creativity, and a commitment to growth. In every role I’ve held, I’ve sought to leave things better than I found them—not just fixing problems but laying the groundwork for lasting impact. It’s this commitment to creating meaningful change that continues to drive everything I do.
