ABOUT DANNY TRUSNER

With over a decade of experience in the logistics and supply chain industry, I currently serve as the Senior Supply Manager at Molson Coors Beverage Company, overseeing critical transportation channels including rail, ocean, air, parcel, and customs. My role involves negotiating freight contracts, managing commercial relationships, and strategizing the expansion of our railcar fleet, ensuring efficient and cost-effective movement of goods.Since joining Molson Coors in 2020, I\'ve successfully negotiated contracts with Class I railroads, implemented a new track & trace system, and managed the integration of over 400 insulated box cars into our US network. My efforts have significantly enhanced our transportation strategy, aligning closely with internal stakeholders to drive value and operational efficiency.Previously, I honed my skills at Covia, managing rail and barge shipments, negotiating rates, and maintaining strong commercial relationships with Class I railroads across North America. My tenure at Fairmount Santrol further solidified my expertise in scheduling and pricing rail and barge shipments, as well as analyzing cycle time data to improve operational insights.At The HON Company, I developed a keen understanding of sales and marketing, building relationships with dealers and participating in sales trainings and blitzes. My early career began with a Purchasing Internship at Monsanto, where I gained foundational experience in order tracking and inventory management.I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing and Supply Chain Management from Western Illinois University and an MBA from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. My education and professional journey are complemented by active participation in industry societies and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
