About Danny Shaw
After working within our family we built our own house in 1968 in Hobbs, New Mexico when I was thirteen. When I was 16, my brothers, friends built by grandmother\'s house next door. After a very short stint at Texas Tech in Lubbock, Tx, I returned to Hobbs to become a licensed general contractor in 1974. We built approximately 100 houses, put up around 100 metal buildings, along with bank branches, regional corporate headquarters for GTE, Shell Oil Company, Texaco, Mewbourne Oil, etc.Relocated to Nashville, TN in 1987, In 1988 co-founded Batten & Shaw with my good friend Jimmy Batten. Our company has built high end residential houses, industrial additions, historical renovations, the Mississippi River Museum, healthcare projects across the country.
