Digital Operations Lead (Manufacturing) with a background in Statistics and 5+ years of experience driving digital transformation in industrial environments.I specialize in bridging Business, IT, and Shopfloor, leading initiatives across MES (SAP-ME), Industrial IoT, and Advanced Analytics to improve operational performance and enable data-driven manufacturing. More details belowI joined EssilorLuxottica in 2021 within the Business Process Innovation (BPI) team, a global function dedicated to digitalizing manufacturing processes and connecting shopfloor operations with enterprise systems.I started in Advanced Manufacturing Analytics, applying statistical methods and Machine Learning (R, Python) to analyze production processes, identify inefficiencies, and support continuous improvement initiatives. In parallel, I developed Power BI dashboards to monitor industrial KPIs such as OEE, quality, and productivity.Over time, I expanded my scope into Data Engineering and industrial data integration, working with Azure (Data Factory, IoT Hub, Databricks) and SQL to structure and optimize data pipelines. I also contributed to MES (SAP-ME) initiatives and machine connectivity projects (OPC-UA, Kepware), increasing data availability and process traceability.Currently, I lead digital initiatives in manufacturing, including MES evolution (change requests, new features, and global standardization), coordination of cross-plant and cross-functional projects, and ownership of BI & Reporting for Operations.
