As a Schemes Business Analyst, I play a pivotal role in designing, configuring, and optimising insurance schemes within the Acturis platform and other broking applications. I work closely with the Applications team to implement change and deliver projects that enhance operational efficiency and meet evolving business needs.Some of my key responsibilities are;• Scheme Design & AnalysisCollaborate with stakeholders to gather and document requirements for insurance schemes.Analyse existing schemes and propose enhancements to streamline processes.• Configuration & CustomisationConfigure schemes to align with business needs, including rating rules, underwriting rules, document templates, and Bordereaux.• Data Mapping & IntegrationWork with data migration teams to ensure accurate mapping and seamless integration between Acturis and external systems.• Testing & Quality AssuranceCreate test scripts and anticipated outcome scenarios.Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and functional testing.• DocumentationProduce and maintain comprehensive documentation including specifications, process flows, and user guides.• Issue ResolutionInvestigate and resolve scheme setup issues, data discrepancies, and system behaviours.Collaborate with technical support teams to implement solutions.• Stakeholder EngagementLiaise with internal teams and third-party vendors to devise solutions and highlight risks or opportunities.Translate business requirements into functional specifications.• Project SupportSupport the Project Manager in prioritising deliverables.Manage small change requests and contribute to project delivery.
