I love to learn, I enjoy to solve problems and I don\'t like to do (boring) tasks manually that can be automated. That are the simple key points that drive my passion for software engineering. My personal focus is on backend technologies such as Java, Spring Boot, Python, GraphQL, REST, Kafka, Kubernetes, Docker and much more, but I am interested in the entire software life cycle.Artificial Intelligence is the other field that deeply interests me professionally. I stay closely updated with its fast-paced developments and constantly work on improving my skills. My involvement in AI is both theoretical and hands-on, as I create and implement AI solutions, all the while focusing on strengthening my theoretical base. As AI Lead at IT Sonix I want to drive the adoption and integration of AI tools across the company, with a particular focus on software development. My role also involves expanding our expertise from software engineering to AI engineering, enabling us to deliver innovative, AI-driven solutions.Before I started this chapter of my career, I was a researcher and lecturer in theoretical computer science, specializing in data compression and streaming algorithms. I\'ve published in top-tier international conferences and journals and earned my doctorate. The experience to solve complex mathematical problems, both individually and in teams, is invaluable for the professional I am today. Finally, as IT Sonix\'s scientific coordinator, I have the chance to close the loop to the years I\'ve spent as a scientist by handling company matters linked to the scientific world.
