About Danny Carroll
I began as a geologist with a small engineering firm where I was involved in groundwater investigations, well installations, monitoring activities, site assessments, etc. Through the years I have moved into the EHS function within the aluminum industry providing environmental compliance direction in addition to safety support and consultation at several aluminum facilities in the United States. My background involves time spent at aluminum smelting, melting and casting, and rolling mill operations. My current role has taken me around the world working with aluminum facilities at the floor level. I enjoy that aspect of being an EHS professional but lately I have been tasked with implementing an EHS data management system which has taken me away from the personal interaction benefit of the job. I continue to strive to provide the best service and support to my employer and its workforce. My goal is to see each employee go home safe at the end of the day and providing a workplace that meets the compliance requirements of its environmental performance.
