The cut to Iceberg covers administrative expenses and provides a small compensation to account managers who are finding contracts and managing relationships with clients. None of the Iceberg officers or board members are compensated for their work.We are 100% up-front about the rate to the client, the cut to Iceberg, and the rate to the consultant. Consultants never have to wonder if they are being treated fairly.A consultant will always be notified if their resume is not being submitted to a client in which they have expressed interest (e.g. some clients place a limit on the number of candidates from one firm). This way the consultant knows they are free to pursue other avenues into the client.
