Teacher of creating computing at this venerable pioneer of progressive education, the original \"maker school\" founded in 1914. I work with 3rd-8th graders using Scratch and other tools to expand computational thinking in the context of City and Country School\'s social studies-based curriculum. I direct City and Country School\'s Electives program and am one of six teachers who work with all 7th and 8th graders to develop written proposals for independent work and then support them in their projects.
