   Dan leads Self-Help’s Real Estate Development Team, a group of 25 professional staff who work on project management, construction management, leasing, asset and property management, and community engagement. He joined Self-Help in 2007 as a project manager, and during his time there his responsibilities have included people management, business development strategy and implementation, project visioning, feasibility studies, financial modeling and structuring, engaging with community partners, and project coordination. Dan has significant experience with Historic Tax Credits, Low Income Housing Tax Credits, New Markets Tax Credits, and public-private partnerships, among other areas. Self-Help is the nation\'s largest community development financial institution, with a mission of creating and protecting ownership and economic opportunity for all, especially people of color, women, rural residents and low-wealth families and communities.
