AI/ML - Working on AI/ML has been a passion for several years. Taking part in the mlcommons MLPerf storage committee has been a joy in my career. I have now been through two publishing rounds with this software and learned a lot about how storage is pivotal to AI/ML workflows. Like many people I have been energized by the productivity enhancements of LLMs. Excited to see where this space is going.Performance - I enjoy analyzing the deep parts of distributed systems performance. Using tools like microbenchmarks, mlperf storage, fio, specstorage2020, file copies, I create performance test environments to simulate workloads, analyze bottlenecks, and suggest improvements. Partnership - I enjoy working together with team members across companies, cultures, and geos including Developers, QA, Service Reliability and Product Management. By partnership, we can target key product performance improvements, shape the product road maps, and facilitate product adoption. Presenting - A skilled public speaker, I enjoy presenting complex performance concepts and making them simple to consume for sales teams, partners and customers through social media, presentations, reports, and zoom.
