About Daniel Adams
I am a sophomore (junior by credit) in Purdue\'s Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering Undergraduate Degree Program. I am concentrated in Propulsion and Structures, and also pursuing a Mathematics Minor. I am an ambitious student-athlete and I am always up for a challenge.I am excited to work, talk, and do everything related to designing the spacecraft and aircraft of the future. Designed a new flame diverter system for the Purdue Space Program (PSP) liquid rocket engine test stand to withstand lb thrust loads.Programmed a model for heat dispersion at ~2400°F across the diverter to design deluge system in MATLAB. Produced full assembly CAD models in Siemens NX using NASA/ISO standards for diverter geometry and material. Designed and manufactured oxidizer tank support to withstand thrust loads and temperature constraints for PSP Hybrids.
