Dan is an experienced software engineer with a background in a broad range of technologies. He began programming for fun (not profit :) back in the mid 1980s with a ZX Spectrum, aided by a stack of magazines, books and late nights.He has over 20 years of software delivery experience and is a determined exponent of Extreme Programming and Continuous Integration/Delivery, finding it to be the best way to deliver quality, working software on time. Dan has spent a large part of his career working as a paired programmer and mentor, which he finds a truly invaluable experience. Recently he has been working in the IT training industry to share this passion.He has an keen interest in all things programming language related and is always picking up new languages. He has created several domain specific languages to facilitate the expression of business ideas.
