Leads the digital transformation for $850M+ value stream focused on civil & military aircraft. Responsible for disrupting the status quo by developing new workflows and products that incorporate model-based systems engineering/design (MBSE/MBD), virtual integration & digital twins, automated verification & validation (V&V), Dev*Ops, software containers & microservices and cloud computing. Accountable for P&L, long-term planning and customer interfacing (DoD, NASA, FAA, European Commission) for portfolio of advanced programs worth $60M+. Directs global teams comprising 140+ members from finance, marketing, sales, legal, contracts, engineering and government relations. Captures and executes customer-funded R&D programs in autonomy, urban air mobility, supersonics, communication/navigation/surveillance, networking, logistics and digital engineering using multiple contract vehicles (FFP, CPFF, IDIQ, OTA). Transitions outputs to product lines to create new value streams. Steers key customers, suppliers and industry stakeholders to cultivate cross-organizational synergies. Current focus is on realizing the DoD’s modular open systems approach (MOSA) vision, forging public-private partnerships with government and devising dual-use, commercial/military applications. Recognized agile/innovation expert within RTX. Coached next-generation spacesuit pursuit team that included a former astronaut on New Space techniques and supported their winning NASA xEVAS ($3.5B, June 2022) proposal for ISS, Moon and Mars missions. Mentors early/mid-career high-performers. Prepared winning national-level Society of Women Engineers (SWE) award nomination package for mentee (2021 SWE Rising Technical Contributor). Generated eight patents (four issued/four pending) in power electronics, networking, machine learning and space products.
