At Thirdfort, I have worked collaboratively across teams to design, develop, and maintain critical backend services, contributing to the success of projects enabling me to work with a diverse tech stack, including Go, Node.js, Cloud SQL, BigQuery, Pub/Sub, Terraform, and Buildkite.Key Projects:Billing Engine (Dec 2020 – Ongoing): Implemented a mission-critical microservice for billing and subscription management to generate billing/invoicing data for client activity with the collaboration of Finance, Data Analytics, and Engineering teams. Migrated this service from Node.js on GKE to Go on Google Cloud Run, replacing Kafka with Pub/Sub to overcome maintenance challenges experienced along it\'s life time.Enhanced Open Banking Reports (Feb 2023 – Jul 2023): Implemented an enhanced bank statement analysis service for financial data analysis by matching bank statement transactions to Source of Funds (SoF) criteria. Collaborated with Design and Product teams to deliver this high-value business need, reducing manual analysis, and faster turnarounds for clients. This project improved turnaround times for clients by 80%. Leveraging Go, Postgres, and gRPC, the solution enabled horizontal scaling for growing data volumes, and delivered fault-tolerant reporting.Key Projects:Bulk Action Runner (Jan - Feb 2024): Contributed to the design and development of a microservice to streamline client onboarding by migrating their data from previous providers to Thirdfort. The service processes bulk data via CSV files, using Thirdfort’s API to create ID checks at scale, with built-in data validation ensuring accuracy, enabling a seamless and self served onboaring process.Client Reporting (Apr 2024 – Jun 2024): Designed and implemented a microservice with the collaboration of Engineering, Product, and Data Analytics teams to deliver qualitative and quantitative reporting data to clients\' compliance requirements to mitigate KYC and AML risks.
