As President of the HCFR Foundation, my primary duties have centered around leading the organization’s mission to support our firefighters, paramedics, and the communities we serve. I’ve overseen fundraising efforts, managed donor relations, guided strategic planning, and worked closely with board members to ensure our initiatives align with both the needs of our personnel and the broader public we protect.One of the most meaningful parts of this role has been building relationships, whether with local businesses, community partners, or families we’ve supported during times of crisis. Under my leadership, we’ve been able to grow our donor base, increase our financial support to injured firefighters and their families, and expand outreach efforts to promote community resilience and fire safety.Some of our biggest successes include:Hosting our annual gala and other major events that raised significant funds for firefighter mental health initiatives and scholarship opportunities.Supporting the families of fallen first responders through direct financial assistance and community partnerships.Launching programs that recognize and celebrate outstanding service within HCFR.Collaborating with hospitals, schools, and local organizations on outreach efforts that connect first responders with the people they serve in meaningful, lasting ways.Above all, I’m proud that the HCFR Foundation has become a trusted, compassionate resource in our community, one that reflects the values and heart of Hillsborough County Fire Rescue.
