I am curious, multi-cultural bilingual with an upbringing spanning Europe and North America. By background I am a scientist with an extensive experience conducting pharmaceutical research within neuroscience field. I sought out a career allowing me to draw on my passion for science and problem-solve without being at lab bench, which took me to consulting. Following several placements in strategy consulting, a desire for a more rounded understanding of the industry and a greater commercial focus brought me to University of Cambridge where I completed an intense science and business Master\'s course (the MBE). Upon my graduation from Cambridge, I continued my professional career in the commercial side of a medical device and biopharmaceutical industries. I am currently part of the CFO group at Merck where as an Associate Director I drive inorganic growth opportunities by evaluating and analysing acquisition targets, licensing agreements, and strategic projects resulting in recommendations to Investment Board.I have expertise in medical device, healthcare and life science strategy, market access, business intelligence, commercial operations, workflow optimisation, R&D innovation, financial planning, technology investment evaluation and M&A.
