   Jul 2016 — Present

   Hillel hired Daniel W. Bennett and Sea Change Consulting in 2015 to convene stakeholders and write a strategic plan designed to save an organization that had frayed badly under austerity budgets following the Recession.o In 2016 Hillel hired Daniel as statewide executive director. Subsequently, Hillel has revived both the board and the business board; rebuilt its programs on all three campuses; hired new staff; implemented sound systems with transparent reporting; made evaluation the norm; implemented consistent marketing and messaging\' and began to fundraise more successfully. o In 2017 Daniel added to ED the role of Development Director, re-instituting a stewardship plan for community donors and building an action a plan to enlist funding partnership from parents of students. Still to come, with adoption of a 2018 business plan, are campaigns to raise funds from alumni and their parents and grandparents, and to reinstitute a robust planned-giving campaign. The new business plan will assure Hillel is a sustainable organization with excellent programing (backed by metrics) with CU-Boulder Hillel as its jewel.
