   I\'m an editor/reporter for our Live team, focused on major breaking news. I am based in NYC after living in London for 2.5 years and in Hong Kong for two years. I spent seven years as a reporter for our Express Team, which is focused on breaking news, explainers, quick-turnaround features and other stories that are written with our digital audience in mind. I had no specific beat, with my work spread across every desk in the newsroom. I spent one day per week running the @nytimes Twitter account, and the other four days working on social strategy, training and reader-assisted reporting with the Metro, Sports and Business desks.\"Reader-assisted reporting\" is way too buzzwordy, so I\'ll define: Anything that invited NYT readers into our reporting or storytelling, including searching for sources, collecting reader experiences/information or prompting reader creativity.
