Currently serving as a Corporate Controller for hotel management company. Available for interim work, projects, and outsourced accounting for hotels and restaurants. Recently have also served as Corporate Controller for one the top hotel owner/management companies located on the beautiful Jersey Shore. Responsible for set up of all accounting and functions. Took company off of Quickbooks and implemented M3 Accounting. Creating and implementing all accounting policies and procedures. Responsible for all aspects of accounting, monthly close, accruals, P&L Statements, Budgeting, forecasting, etc. Before this served as General Manager of Inn at Whittier, a seasonal hotel I do also have many years experience as GM and as Director over multiple resorts.    Working as consultant with main focus on finance, accounting, hotel internal audit and operations. Working with DLA Forensic Auditing firm in performing nationwide hotel internal audits. Have been involved in many consulting engagements in both accounting and operations. Some projects have included but are not limited to- Served with Dalwadi Hospitality in Houston, Texas. Completely set up all accounting for ownership/management company over as many as 10 Hotels. Served with them in capacity of Corporate Controller- Aramark – Serving with Aramark as consultant where I have been over all accounting for Aramark Alaska and Northwest Operations. Yearly seasonal revenues and budget in excess of $50 Million- Fillmore Capital – Served on task force of takeover of 11 new hotels. Traveled to properties to set up all accounting systems and establish SOP- David Landau & Associates – Have been performing nationwide hotel internal audits focusing on Sox Compliance. Hotels have included properties such as Marriott, W Hotels, Hyatt Regency, etc- Cedar Creek Resort – Served as Managing Director for full service Golf Resort located in Wine Country of Missouri- Bay Valley Resort – Created, designed and implemented all accounting and SOP for new hotel takeover in Finance, Operations and Food & Beverage- Served as Task Force General Manager for different properties- Served as Task Force Controller for different properties- Worked for hotel management company, multiple hotels that were being reported on Quickbooks. Took the company off of Quickbooks and set up all accounting using M3 Accounting software- Performed all hotel accounting and closings with CPA firm for major hotel management company. Oversaw aspects of centralized accounting for company.
