About Daniel Wilcox

I have a passion for problem solving. It doesn’t matter if it’s helping a customer define an issue, increasing internal efficiencies, troubleshooting a failed tool, or prioritizing and attacking multiple concurrent problems. I enjoy collaborating on an issue and finding the most efficient solution. I believe this passion has allowed me to succeed at multiple roles throughout my career including Technical Sales, Project Management, and Operations Management. From these various experiences, I’ve learned the following about myself: I’m a very organized person who leads by results- I establish short- and long-term objectives to stay focused- I use data were available to aid in my decision making- I always have an eye on long term goals and how my short-term decisions affect these goals- Learning from mistakes through communication and lessons learned is critical. I’m always trying to improve myself and my work environment through process improvement- I believe defined processes are key to consistent success and for identifying areas for improvement- I’m a very curious person by nature. I enjoy investigating how things or processes work and how they can be improved- I thrive on technical details and establishing processes on which I can continuously improve on. Which means I love using new technology or methods to increase efficiency- I enjoy thinking outside the box and trying new things, even if they’re not always successful- I embrace change and new experiences- I’m not afraid to get thrown off the deep end on a very vague project outside of my expertise. I can lead and be a part of a diverse team that outperforms objectives- I enjoy meeting new people and hearing about their experiences- I believe diverse teams bring diverse ideas and solutions- I’ve worked successfully with a wide range of personalities throughout my career- I strongly believe that your team success will be followed by individual success. This means offering and accepting help where needed and avoiding “siloed” work.
