ABOUT DAN HEALY
I’ve been solving problems through design for over 25 years. I\'ve designed, tested, built, delivered, and managed websites, intranets, software, apps, and information systems for some of the UK’s biggest names, including Sophos, Nationwide Building Society, Lloyds Banking Group, Scottish and Southern Energy, the UK Space sector, and the UK government. I\'ve delivered digital experiences for millions of people that have delivered millions of pounds for organisations and significant benefit for some of the most vulnerable people in the UK. I was delighted and honoured to win a UXUK award for my user-centred design leadership at Kallidus. I\'m passionate about using my deep knowledge of user-centred design to lead organisational change, solve business problems, tame complex products, and to deliver valuable, sustainable products and services. These days, my job is all about designing, growing, mentoring, and managing the best user-centred design teams. I love speaking about my experiences as a Designer and Leader and am happy to talk at conferences, meet ups, and universities. I\'ve spoken at Collaborate, Bristol; UX Cheltenham; UX in the City, Oxford; UX Scotland; Learning Technologies; UX Wales; UX Bristol, Flatiron School, the Chartered Institute of Ergonomics and Human Factors conference, UXPA UK; UXPA International; SD in Gov, and others.
