BVMW e.V- Federal Association of Small and Medium sized EnterprisesBVMW is a politically independent German association which caters for all commercial branches and professions, and represents the interests of more than small and medium-sized enterprises in politics, with administrative authorities, with trade unions and with major companies. The so called \"German Mittelstand\" – around 3.3 million individual enterprises in all – are the backbone and stimulus of the German economy.We are the sole representative of BVMW in India and promote Trade and Investments between both countries. Therefore, we are working closely with our partner associations in India to support companies and Institutions with their business activities in India and Europe.In my role as Executive Director at BVMW India, I am responsible for:• Positioning BVMW in Germany as contact partner for the Indian market and cultivating the association’s reputation in Germany• Providing consulting services to member companies and partner associations• Liaising with officials of Government departments, trade bodies and other institutions• Establishing strategic partnerships and a professional consulting network for India• Conceptualizing and implementing a marketing strategy for \"BVMW-India\" in Germany / Switzerland / Austria (D-A-CH)• Advising member companies on market entry and sales strategies for South Asia• Providing Management and HR consulting services to foreign companies entering the German / European market • Supporting BVMW in trade and investment measures, as well as with foreign policy initiatives in South Asia
