During the Covid Lockdown I lost a batch of sprouts to mold and mildew. It was then that I realized that Jar based designs for sprouts were based around convenience, not innovation. That week I drafted the idea for the Sprout Spout on a piece of paper with a simple concept; mimic nature by allowing sprouts to have access to airflow. We then focused on addressing harvesting and sanitation issues that are common with jar-based designs. Three years and ten prototypes later, the first Sprout Spout was produced and we applied for a patent. The Sprout Spout makes growing abundant, nutrient-rich sprouts effortless. It delivers bigger harvests right on your countertop from seed to salad in as little as three days and transforms a spot corner kitchen into an oasis of wellness.
